Ο Μιχάλης Πολυχρονάκης και ο Λευτέρης Φραγκιουδάκης , μεταφέρουν ήχους από κάθε γωνιά της Κρήτης, ακολουθώντας την πορεία της κρητικής μουσικής στο χρόνο: από τα αρχέγονα «ριζίτικα» τραγούδια, στους πρωτομαστόρες του 20ου αιώνα αλά και από επιλεγμένους συνθετες της εποχης μας σε δικές τους πρωτότυπες και ανέκδοτες συνθέσεις και δημιουργίες. Η λύρα και το λαούτο συνδιαλέγονται και συνδυάζονται αρμονικά σε ήχους που συνεπαίρνουν τον ακροατή με την ένταση, τον παλμό και τα δυνατά συναισθήματα που χαρακτηρίζουν την κρητική μουσική.
Michalis Polychronakis and Lefteris Fragkidakis bring sounds from every corner of Crete, following the course of Cretan music in time: from the primitive “rhythmic” songs, to the early 20th century masters, but also by selected composers of our time in their own original and unpublished compositions and creations. The lyre and the lute speak and harmonize in sounds that impress the listener with the intensity, the pulse and the strong feelings that characterize the Cretan music.
