Phil Harrison, born in Liverpool and now living in Crete, Greece, has been a professional musician and composer / songwriter all his life. Piano is his first love, but he is also a vocalist and multi-instrumentalist. It is forty years since his biggest commercial success as a member of ‘The Korgis’, with several hits including the No 1 “Everybody’s Got To Learn Sometime”. Phil has also written music for film and TV and guested on plenty of recordings and live stages, working with, among others, Roger McGough and Mike McCartney, Neil Innes, Barbara Dickson, Jake Burns, Dave Knopfler and Peter Hamill. In Crete he sometimes performs with renowned Greek musicians and sometimes with visiting artists from abroad, as well staging solo programmes and running two choirs.
Phil Harrison will be performing in the beautiful old candle-lit chapel in Vlatos. He will be playing a lot of original music plus a smattering of Gershwin, Borodin, Orff, Rachmaninoff, amongst others
